ABOVE THE LINE Group Home (AKA, Kimberly Carter House) is a COUNTY WIDE resource for HOMELESS YOUTH. It is located in WATSONVILLE. Youth must be CLEAN AND SOBER for this program. The Phone Number is (831) 724-3077.
THE CROSSROADS PROGRAM Group Home is a COUNTY WIDE resource for HOMELESS YOUTH who are Child Protective Service Wards. It is located in LA SELVA. Youth must be referred by CPS for this program. The Phone Number for CPS is (831) 454--4222. The direct line to Crossroads is (831)724-9333.
AMERICAN RED CROSS provides COUNTY WIDE DISASTER RELIEF Shelter and other distracter related services. Their phone number is (831) 462-2881.
DEFENSA DE MUJERES/ WOMEN'S CRISIS SUPPORT provides COUNTY WIDE Shelter and other related services. Their services are for WOMEN ONLY for victims of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/ SEXUAL ASSAULT. All referrals MUST BE DRUG/ALCOHOL FREE. Their phone number is (831) 722-4532 or 477-4244 .
HOUSING FOR MEDICAL EMERGENCIES (through Community Action Board) provides MEDICAL EMERGENCY SHELTER AT MOTELS. This is for homeless people RELEASED from the HOSPITAL, or who have TB, OR HAVE HIV/AIDS. Their phone number is (831) 457-0511.
SANTA CRUZ AIDS PROJECT provides COUNTY WIDE SUPPORT SERVICES TO PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV/AIDS and provides MOTEL VOUCHERS for people suffering from these conditions. Their phone number is (831) 427-3900.
PAJARO RESCUE MISSION provides COUNTY WIDE SHELTER SERVICES for MEN ONLY. This service provides FOOD, SHOWER, & BED. Service recipients must BE THERE BEFORE 7PM. The occupancy is UP TO 58 BEDS. Their phone number is (831) 724-9576.
SIENA HOUSE MATERNITY HOME OF SANTA CRUZ COUNTY provides COUNTY WIDE HOUSING FOR SINGLE PREGNANT WOMEN. Women referred must be CLEAN & SOBER, and REFERRAL is NEEDED. Their phone number is (831) 425-2229.
YOUTH SERVICES- COMMUNITY COUNSELING provides COUNTY WIDE COUNSELING, SHELTER, REUNIFICATION and OUTREACH SERVICE FOR 12-17 YEAR OLD HOMELESS YOUTH OUTSIDE THE SYSTEM. Their phone number is (831) 425-0771.
VETERANS REHAB PROGRAM provides a COUNTY WIDE PROGRAM FOR HOMELESS VETS, and has a shelter located IN PALO ALTO. Their phone number is 1-800-848-7254.
AWARE CLEAN AND SOBER HOMES provides COUNTY WIDE services, and has FIVE COED HOMES SERVING PEOPLE RECOVERING FROM CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY. Their phone number is (831) 479-9023.
HOMELESS AID / TEMPORARY SHELTER/ TANF/ Cal Works (through the COUNTY HUMAN RESOURCE AGENCY) provides COUNTY WIDE MOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS. Recipients of assistance MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR TANF/ Cal Works & HOMELESS. Their phone number is (831) 454-4010.
INTERFAITH SATELLITE SHELTER PROGRAM provides COUNTY WIDE CHURCH SHELTER YEAR ROUND. The ARMORY is open from 11/15 through 3/15. MATS & BLANKETS are also PROVIDED. Their phone number is (831) 458-6020.
NEW LIFE COMMUNITY SERVICES provides EMERGENCY SHELTER and TRANSITIONAL SHELTER FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. Call for more details. Their phone number is (831) 458-1668.
PAGE SMITH COMMUNITY HOUSE provides shelter for 18 MONTHS MAX, CASE MANAGEMENT; SINGLE ADULTS, PAY 30% OF INCOME (CLEAN AND SOBER). Their phone number is (831) 469-4673.
RIVER STREET SHELTER provides COUNTY WIDE services and has 32 BEDS for SINGLE ADULTS. Recipients must CHECK IN for the WAIT LIST between 4PM and 6PM. Their phone number is (831) 459-6644. Several beds are reserved for clients with mental health issues.
HERMANAS RECOVERY HOME provides RESIDENTIAL ALCOHOLISM/ DRUG TREATMENT FOR WOMEN AND DEPENDENTS. Their service area is primarily WATSONVILLE. Their phone number is (831) 722-2471.
REBELLE FAMILY SHELTER provides COUNTY WIDE shelter for homeless families as well as other related services. Families can stay for approximately 90 days. There is a wait list for services. Their phone number is (831) 458-6020.
SALVATION ARMY EMERGENCY SHELTER and SALVATION ARMY LOMA PRIETA TRANSITIONAL HOUSING provides emergency housing, and transitional housing for up to six months. They are located at 232 Union Street in WATSONVILLE. Call for more information at 763-0131
