Info: Love INC Annual Luncheon
Our Annual Luncheon for Love INC was held on Thursday, May 19th at Santa Cruz Bible Church. Santa Cruz Bible Church was extremely gracious and generous in everything they provided for this event. The food, the facility and everything else was top notch. Special thanks goes to Master Chef/ Host, Mark Kientzler from Santa Cruz Bible (and Love INC Board Member) for the great team he put together to serve. He and Deborah Johnson, another Love INC Board Member, organized a great event. Great stuff.
Isle of Light did a great job with there unique style of Celtic Christian music. The music was downright beautiful. Go to their website and buy a CD (check our 'Web Links' section). You won't be disappointed. In fact, you'll be quite blessed. Support local Christian independent music.
We heard from some stories from people who have benefited from the help the Body of Christ has provided through the organizing efforts of Love INC. We will be posting some of these great stories on the site later in the month. It is great to see what God is doing through His Church in this County.

Love INC mobilizes the churches in Santa Cruz County by networking their body of believers as volunteers to help those community members in need. We mobilize human and program resources to supplement agency efforts.

Info: Advantages of Using Love INC
12 ADVANTAGES OF LOVE INC TO CHURCHES
1. Helps the church to own its ministry to those in need, since LOVE INC. is a clearinghouse to assist churches to reach out to those in need.
2. Helps generate untapped volunteer resources that already exist in the local churches to meet needs both within and outside the church.
3. Screens needs for churches as to nature, extent and legitimacy. This determines what the real need actually is.
4. Prevents church duplication of existing services already available in the community.
5. Discovers if those requesting assistance are going from church to church and making the rounds. LOVE INC. puts an end to this by meeting legitimate needs in another way or discovering instances of fraudulent requests.
6. Provides long-term self-help solutions for those who are chronically dependent or have multiple needs.
